trying to reactivate an expired domain

  my domain expired more than 90 days ago. I purchased domain mapping thinking this would renew my firstpress.com domain and allow me to continue using it instead of the wordpress.com URL. I cannot get the domain to load but the firstpresss.wordpress.com will? Both are listed but only the one will work.
