Trying to redirect a .html link to a normal link using plug-ins
-
I am trying to re-direct this link: https://www.advocatedaily.com/Minden-Gross-LLP-Samantha-Prasad-the-fund-library-publishes-samantha-prasads-year-end-tax-tips.html
To this link: https://advocatedaily.com/the-fund-libary-publishes-samantha-prasads-year-end-tax-tips/
I have tried using plug-ins, but all of them fail. It seems that the .html in the link I am trying to redirect really throws things off.
Anyone have any ideas? I have no idea how to post links on WordPress that show up as .html

Hi there,
I suspect this is something you’ll need to set up on your server, but as nothing like this is possible on WordPress.com at all, that’s really just a somewhat educated (probably mostly ignorant) guess :)
Please ask the community on WordPress.org for advice instead. They make the open source version of WordPress you’re using on that site, so will have a better idea of what’s possible in this regard:
https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
The forum you’re posting to now is for the hosting provider, WordPress.com, and we’re only able to help with sites that are hosted on our servers.
