Trying to refund/cancel purchase
-
I have tried to get the refund MULTIPLE times. We just can’t find the options to do what we want. Finally today I gave up and clicked the ‘cancel this’ ‘cancel this’ option on everything I could find on the account page, but
a) I don’t know if it actually canceled everything
b) I don’t know if it refunded our money, even though this is the 3rd or 4th time I’ve tried to do it since we bought the wrong purchaseOn top of it all, you seem to have removed the ‘Contact us’ option from the Support page, and now it says all I can do is make a forum post?! Please help

Sorry for the headache you’re running into! I’m adding the ModLook tag to this thread, so a staff member can more quickly find your post and look into it for you.
In the meantime, what exactly are you trying to get a refund for?

Hi there,
You bought the Personal Plan and domain on your site on 17 September. Our refund period on WordPress.com is 30 days for plans and 48 hours for domains.
You cancelled your domain on 2 October, which is way past the 48 hour refund period, and I cannot issue a late refund on a domain.
You cancelled your plan yesterday, which is also way past the 30 day refund period which ended on 17 October. But in this case I’m still able to give you a partial refund for the cost of your plan minus the cost of the domain. You should receive that refund in about 10 business days.
