We have an old menu PDf that is showing up on google with all the wrong prices. I no longer have access to the site it is from still have the same domain.
We had a wordpress website, which the file is from, then had one built. Now we are back to wordpress but the files from the old account are not there.
    Please Help!

a bit vague about some of the details

its sounds like you wish to remove a search result from google.
    https://support.google.com/websearch/answer/6349986?hl=en

their are additional google means plus a third-party listed in this article
    https://lifehacker.com/forget-me-manages-your-google-removal-requests-1596532961

its probable ( i gather from what your saying) that it will take a while for your replacement files to show up in search domains.

Removal request was denied. Says to contact the owner of the site. We are the owners of the site. Now what?

    Hi sarahbertling79,

I no longer have access to the site it is from still have the same domain.

The account you are currently logged in to doesn’t own any WordPress.com sites. What is the address of the site you need help with?

Google’s outdated content tool will only work if the original PDF has already been deleted from the site — it doesn’t sound like you’ve been able to do this though. Therefore, recovering the site and deleting the PDF before trying again will be your best bet.

Once I know the address you are referring to, I can point you in the right direction.

@sarahbertling79, this is a self-hosted copy of WordPress through picassofish.net. It’s quite different from a site that is on our servers.

And since your site is not here on our servers, we don’t have access to help you regain access. But I may be able to point you in the right direction.

First contact picassofish.net to be sure you have backups and can access the hosting side of your site, then read all of these these instructions from WordPress.org to determine which method you want to use to regain access to your installation:
    http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password

As long as you can log into picassofish.net, you should be able to regain access or simply delete the file.

If you need more help with WordPress, head to to the forums for self-hosted sites at https://wordpress.org/support

@sarahbertling79 WordPress.com is a service and WordPress.org is free software you can install on other services.

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

If you installed WordPress.org at picassofish.net, we don’t have access to it.

But if you’ll contact your host with the instructions I sent, you can likely regain access.
