Trying to remove archive, categories and recent comments on the home page

  Hi, I would like to remove archive, categories and recent comments on the home page with the recent css uprade tab that was just installed if possible. Hope ull be able to help. Amanda

  Sorry I forgot to mention I have not built a site before. I just went to the css tab and put in em strong ul ol li and entered ‘save’ which did not work.

  Could you tell me the exact procedure to follow on which page. Thanks, Amanda

  Sorry! I think it just worked, thank you.

  It’s just that
  ‘recent posts’ is repeated twice on the home page and it would be nice if the bottom repeat of ‘recent posts’ (at the footer) could be removed. Kindly let me know the code for that and how to delete the now empty twitter tab on the home page
  ‘follow me on twitter my tweets’

  Hi there!

  The parts of your site that you’re mentioning are what we call Widgets. You can edit your Widgets through Appearance > Widgets.

  Any widgets you don’t want you can open by clicking on the title and click on the red ‘Remove’ link.
