Trying to remove 'sticky' from blog post
-
One of my posts is labelled ‘sticky’ meaning it always sits at the top of the hierarchy of my blogs on the front page. I don’t know how I did this, and I don’t want this.
Would you please be kind enough to tell me (a) how this happened, and (b) how to cancel this?
I would really appreciate your help.

WordPress plays games and hides options. If you’re in the new blue editor of the post in question look to the left hand side where it says “published x days ago” and click there. There should then be an option to stick/unstick the post and the post will move back to the date it was originally posted.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, themagicrobot! It worked. I’ve had a devil of a time trying to figure this out. I must have done it by accident when I was messing around with my blog one very late night. Again – thanks.
