Trying to renew domain for weeks! Page keeps flickering

Every time I have tried to renew the domain I get to the page with the plans. I want to keep the free site but renew my domain. The page blinks on and off and I can’t click on anything. I’ve cleared cookies and cache and it still doesn’t work in any browser. Need this fixed immediately.

I’m not sure why the page blinks on and off. Also, unless there was a problem with billing information, this should have renewed automatically. Have you tried to review and manage all your subscriptions in your account settings, under Manage Purchases?

Is it possible that this upgrade was accidentally cancelled after the refund period? If so, the domain would have remained active until its expiration date.
Here is an excerpt from the support doc found at the link above:
Auto Renew
All upgrades are setup to be automatically renewed by default. We’ll send you notification emails before charging your card, however we do automatically renew upgrades 30 days before their expiration date. Why? Since letting an upgrade expire may result in unwanted site changes to your site or loss of domains, we want to ensure that everything is taken care of in advance.
Auto Renew can be disabled by choosing the option to cancel your upgrade. If you cancel an upgrade outside of its refund window then it will remain active until its expiration date.

Page still blinks. I just want to renew the domain but it looks like it is trying to force me to upgrade to the $99 plan – and that page blinks too. Can someone step in to fix this? The blog has been down since the end of February because we have been unable to renew the domain.

The issue is that the WordPress.com user account that you are posting from is not the owner of the franchiselaw-manningfulton.com domain registration upgrade.
So you must have ended up with a second WordPress.com account at some point. You will need to log into the other account in order to renew the domain.

Also, I would encourage you to not delay on this. The domain is very close to being out of the grace period and into the “redemption” period which carries an $80 late fee.
