Trying to Renew Subcription

    My subscription expired and I am trying to pay the annual fee under the ‘Manage Purchases’ link, but the page is not loading every time I try. I can see the price that I need to pay for the next year, but my subscription to renew is not going through.Please help!!

    If you are not successful please provide this specific info:
    (a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.
    (b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://supportdetails.com/

    It looks like the payment went through not long after you posted here, as that upgrade is showing as renewed now.

    Please let me know if you need any more help with this.

    You are right – it did go through, but it did for ‘Gamine and Stripes’. I am trying to renew my annual subscription to ‘Simple Everyday Style’. I still have not been successful with it. Is there a way I can just have the payment automatically renew for ‘Simple Everyday Style’ every year?

  • Are you speaking of the site, http://simpleverydaystyle.com/?

    That site belongs to the username, shannonchaps, not skirst713 which you’re using to post here. To renew that upgrade you need to be logged in as the account that owns the upgrade, so log out of this account and log back in as shannonchaps, and you’ll be able to renew it.

    If you log back in as skirst713 you should be able to cancel that plan for a full refund on the Purchases page. Or if you run into any trouble, please just confirm here again as that username and I can manually refund it for you.

    Okay – I followed your directions for canceling the upgrade under ‘Manage Purchases’, but a little red sentence came up on the screen which said, ‘Upgrade not refundable’. Is that true? I logged back in as ‘skirst713’ ……. Thank you for all of your help!!

  • Hmm. Jetpack plans work a bit differently from WordPress.com plans, as you can purchase those on a monthly plan, but you bought a year plan and are within the refund period, so you should be able to cancel it.

    I’ve gone ahead and cancelled and refunded it for you, though. You should receive the refund in about 10 business days, so early in the new year :)
