Trying to return to wrrdpress after a 2 year hiatus, and

  can’t even access my dashboard! Where should I go to learn all the new stuff? Help!

  You are clearly logged in and the blog, http://cookingwithmim.com/ is active. Try clearing your browser cache and cookies and make sure you have third-party cookies enabled: http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/

  You can also check if you’re able to access the dashboard on another browser.

  If that doesn’t work, or if you’re talking of another blog, let us know.

  I started on WordPress around the time you wrote your last post and things haven’t changed that much ;-) Just avoid the New Post button in the Reader. Staff is fiddling with that making it a bit unstable at present.

  Thank you so much for your response. After posting, I managed to find the dashboard, and started scoping things out again. Of particular help was your mention of the fact that not as much has changed since my last post as I seemed to think. That is extremely encouraging, as it was a rather difficult journey for me to get things right the first time. Thank you again for your helpful post.

  I’m glad I could help. I think you’ll see editing images after they’re inserted is a bit different, and Zemanta is no longer automatically integrated (though if you add the browser extension that works just as well). But I can’t think of any other major change since I started. Good luck getting things going again.
