Trying to reuse URL on different user

    Hi,

    I have just deleted my second blog website, as someone was expecting to share it with me but I’d created it on my personal email and personal wordpress account (Internal Cosmogony).

    I am trying to get started with the same blog URL on a brand new account (which will be connected to an email address both me and my friend share), however – despite the blog’s deletion – the system won’t let me choose that same URL again for the new account, stating something to the effect that the blog already exists. It has been deleted; is it just a matter of time before it comes free or is there something I can do?

    It seems odd that even the user who deleted the blog is told ‘the authors deleted this site’ when he goes onto the webpage. I’d simply like to use that same disused weblink name in a new wordpress profile.
