Trying to revise CNAME so that Register.com Webmail works

Hello WordPress,
I am trying to resolve a problem with my register.com webmail account by revising my CNAME to the specs provided to me by register.com. When I try to edit my DNS, the CNAME is not able to be edited. Can you unlock it for me?

You should be able to modify your domain’s DNS here:

Also, the following support page may be of assistance:
If you are still having a problem, let me know, and we can take the next troubleshooting step, once I get more feedback.

You are going to need to add a new CNAME record, not modify the one that is already there:
If you need additional assistance with this issue, please confirm the records that Register.com requires you to add, and I will be happy to help you.

Please confirm the records that Register.com requires you to add.
Once I have that information, I will add the necessary record(s) for you.

Here is what I have from Register.com:
Thank you for contacting Register.com, a Web.com company.
MX davereidy.com points to mx07.register.com priority 10 or high
CNAME mail. davereidy.com points to webmail04.register.com

I’ve successfully added the record.

Hello again!
I’m writing today for some help configuring email on the other WordPress website I administer, tiffanybedwell.com.
I’ve received the following from the email provider, enom:
The required records are as follows:
Host Name Address
imap mail-29.name-services.com
pop mail-29.name-services.com
smtp mail-29.name-services.com
webmail mail-29.name-services.comThese are all of the mail related CNAME records.
Can you help me configure the CNAME records for tiffanybedwell.com just as you did for davereidy.com?
Thanks again, @pmciano.

I’ve updated your DNS records.
If your email is not working after 24 hours, please contact your email provider to verify the value they would like set for your domain’s MX record.
