Trying to start new blog using my custom url
-
I am also getting the “An active access token must be used create a new Site for the User” error message. I am trying to start a new blog, using my already paid for custom url (onanadventure.us) – I had zero problems last year using my other custom url (onanadventure.me) – Please tell me how I can make this happen? I have logged into GoDaddy.com and changed the name servers to NS1.WORDPRESS.COM, NS2.WORDPRESS.COM, NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
That change went through yesterday, and I still cannot start my blog, as it keeps giving me the “token” error message.
Thanks in advance!

As mentioned on a similar thread from the past, please completely log out of WordPress.com, clear your cache and cookies, and attempt to log back in as that might help fix.
I am also tagging the post with “modlook” for the WordPress.com staff’s attention.

I have read many of the other threads and tried many of the suggestions. None seem to be working. I’ve cleared my cache and cookies that didn’t help. I am using Chrome (as I’ve used with my previous WP site in the past 12 months) – I also tried explorer, which I couldn’t even get the main WP site to load.

SOOOO, just randomly tried using all CAPS in the field for the custom url, and it just went through no problem… so weird. Thanks for the prompt responses!
