Trying to STOP auto-emailing posts to followers
-
Ok, so I feel like a moron but I just cant find what I am looking for.
Previously, I had my WP.com site set up to send an email blast with an excerpt and link to my most recent post, whenever I posted. Hit publish, email goes out.
Now I am switching to using MailChimp for campaigns etc. I have migrated my current subscribers there, but I want to stop blasting them from WP after each post, so I can instead send an email via MailChimp.
But for the life of me, I cannot find where to do it. I thought there was a box under ‘Settings’ somewhere that you just ticked on or off for this function, but I cant find it.Help?
Thank you!Thank you!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
There is no setting on your account which will have the intended effect. Your subscribers themselves control if and when they receive email notifications. They may selectively opt out of email notifications for certain sites (including yours) at their Manage Followed Sites page: https://wordpress.com/following/edit. The options for each site are opened by clicking on the right facing arrow preceding the site title.
Credit for this answer is due to justjennifer who provided the solution to the topic Selectively modifying email notifications for followed sites, which I started in effort to find a solution to your topic.

Since in essence this is a duplicate of the other thread, I’m closing this one. Please see my reply there.
