Trying to Switch to WordPress.org

Hi,
I’m trying to create a site for a food truck and I meant to sign up on wordpress.org with my sitegrounds. I had ordered a domain on both sitegrounds and wordpress.com, cancelled it on wordpress, and now it’s parked and I can’t get it to transfer to wordpress.org… could someone please help?

We can recover your domain, and then you’ll be able to use it with your WordPress.org site. Please note that if we recover your domain, you won’t be able to transfer it for the next two months due to the ICANN’s transfer lock. So, you’ll keep it here and point it to your WordPress.org site.
If you want to use the domain on a different provider without waiting for two months, it should become available again by the end of the week, at which point you can register it directly at the provider where you want to use it.
If you prefer not to wait, we can still restore it manually as above and then help you point it to your site.

Actually, sorry I didn’t fully read through. Since it’ll only take a week for the domain to become available, I’ll wait until then.
