Trying to transfer from Shopify to WooCommerce

I am currently trying to set up a new account with WooCommerce as I previously signed up with Shopify only to learn they will not do payment processing for CBD merchants, and have been unable to find a processor that will. I learned that squarepay will, but that I should have WooCommerce instead of Shopify if I’m going to use square, so here I am. I registered a domain with shopify (www.wicbdproducts.com) and am trying to figure out how to use this domain for WooCommerce instead. The instructions in the help section were confusing, and different from what Shopify is telling me to do. On their end it says they have ‘unlocked’ my domain and it is ready for transfer, and that I’m supposed to give an authorization code to my new provider. How do I go about doing this? I don’t see anywhere on this end to do that.

WooCommerce is just a software that allows you to create an e-commerce site, but it has nothing to do with your domain. You’ll want to find another registrar for that one.

Well when I try to ‘create site’ and create an online store it won’t let me go any further until I create a domain. But I want to just use the domain I already have, so what do I do?

You would need to run a self-hosted site with another provider.

Why is it that no one allows a perfectly legal product? Obstacles everywhere. Free market? What a joke. This isn’t even America anymore, is it?
