  Is this because it’s the only domain I have attached to wordpress?

  Hi there,

  You recently registered the domain on 12/15/19, therefore you have to wait 60 days before you are able to transfer your domain to a different host, per ICANN rules:

  https://www.icann.org/resources/pages/ownership-2013-05-03-en

  In the meantime, you can use the domain with your site by pointing the nameservers over to your new host as it appears what you are currently doing:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-name-servers/
