Trying to translate "html badge codes" into the badges on new page or sidebar
-
I have copied and pasted a number of badge htmls from blogs that I like to follow onto either the sidebar or onto a new page. I have tried being on the “visual” and the “html” side of the writing area and cannot figure out what I am doing wrong that will make the badges appear on the preview after saving the page as a draft. I have read the Help page on “Codes” and don’t seem to have an issue there, but I am not sure. Let me give an example of the badges:

<img src=”http://www.hispenonmyheart.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/Button125.jpg” border=”0″ alt=”hispenonmyheart”>When I preview these on the New page, it is all still code…no badges.
Thanks for your help, ~ linda gill

A badge is an image. Have you uploaded those images into your Media Library?

No, I have not, so will try that and see how I do. Thanks for your help. I can see by the “help” page that this should work just right.

TimeThief…thank you for suggesting using the Media Library. I am doing just that and will be able to accomplish the page I want. Just is taking me a while. But it works great! Thanks again, ~ linda
