Trying to update my email address

    The email address I used when I set up the site is no longer operable. I am trying to change it. I got a verification email, but when I clicked on the link it said it was unable to update my email address. Please reply to (email visible only to moderators and staff).

    You must be logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the free hosted WordPress.com blog(s) to change the associated email address.

    You have two separate email address settings at WordPress.com.

    Blog notifications for the admin (like comment moderation, Likes, new subscriptions, etc) are sent to the email address at Settings -> General in the Dashboard.

    Personal notifications (like comments on your post, subscription emails, and upgrade renewals) are sent to the email address at Users -> Personal Settings in the Dashboard.
