Trying to update my web page and can’t get to the main page stuff

Trying to update my site and stuff has changed. Jetpack, what the heck is that? I’m really lost right now. I just wanted to change the photo on my home page and can’t find out how to do it now. I only edit my site once or twice a year so I’m not a power user.
Site: https://www.loftusfamilyfarm.com.
WP.com: Unknown
Jetpack: Yes
Correct account: Yes -

Hello there,
It looks like loftusfamilyfarm.com is a self-hosted site, so our support is limited, but I’ll do my best to point you in the right direction.
To change the header image, this is usually done via Appearance > Customize > Header image.
Jetpack is a plugin that is used to connected self-hosted sites to WordPress.com.
I hope this helps.

I finally found the page I needed and was able to edit my site. I used to do things from the “Menus” section of the “Appearance” list but things have changed. The two sites I run are very stable and very little changes over time but I realize that Bluehost is updating it’s features that make a difference for other users. So long as they don’t change so much and I can’t figure out how to run my sites, I’ll be fine.
Do I really need Jetpack? I had some other security add on that was suppose to protect me, so I don’t know where I stand right now. I’ll have to get on the Bluehost web site and do some reading. Thanks for writing back.

Hi there!
>Do I really need Jetpack? I had some other security add on that was suppose to protect me, so I don’t know where I stand right now.
Jetpack adds a number of features to your self-hosted WordPress.org sites. There are tons of features that you get if your site is hosted by us at WordPress.com. But if your site is hosted elsewhere, you miss out on those features. By using the Jetpack plugin on your site, you can get some of those features on your WordPress.org site as well.
I strongly recommend going through the list of features under the “Free” column on this page: https://jetpack.com/features/comparison/ – those are features that are available to your WordPress.org site via Jetpack. You can navigate to your site’s Jetpack → Settings dashboard to see which modules are active.
Some of the best features of Jetpack are:
* Downtime monitoring
* Brute Force Protection
* Content Delivery Network (that speeds up your site while reducing the load on your site’s servers)
* Subscriptions
* And plenty more.It’s up to you whether you want those features or not, but if you have more questions, feel free to let us know. You can also reach out to Jetpack support directly over at this forum: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack/
Regards
