Trying to upgrade but it won't allow me to

We have just set up the account and we want to upgrade to a premium account, I’ve put in the credit card information but it won’t allow me to upgrade.

It still won’t allow me to upgrade. And it has the site set up as truthseekerdotblog.wordpress.com, I want the site set up as truthseeker.blog.wordpress.com. How do I change that? I’m not sure how it set it up that way.

I found where to change it but I’m confused as to how to set up my blog page website to not have the dotblog spelled out. Please help…………

To get some clarification on this issue, are you attempting to change the blog URL or website name?
When you bought the domain, what was the specific name of the domain purchased?
To make sure dotblog isn’t spelled out, the domain purchased could have been “truthseeker.blog”? I apologize for my misunderstanding of the issue.

Please keep in mind that I am not familiar with all of this and how it works, I am setting this up for my boss who is setting up this website for his wife for a Christmas present. When I set it up I choose the truthseeker.blog name. I want someone seeking the blog to be able to type in http://www.truthseeker.blog.wordpress.com and be able to find the blog. I don’t want them to have to type in truthseekerdotblog.wordpress.com to get the blog website to come up. I hope I’m making sense.

Yes, it does. Did you get a Personal, Premium or Business plan?
If yes, you’re able to change it to “truthseeker.blog” by obtaining its domain.
If you have a free account, the reason it would say “truthseekerdotblog” is because all free accounts are made as “website.wordpress.com.” This means that you can only have a “.blog” by obtaining a personal or higher plan.

It was originally set up as a free one due to that’s how it prompted me to set it up but I upgraded to a Premium account.

You should try and go to https://wordpress.com/domains, select the site and make sure the domain truthseeker.blog is the primary. Let me know if this works.
