trying to upload them and it says I have to buy a business plan

  My understanding, which is limited , is that I do not have to pay for a WP account to use it, and to use it with a purchased theme to upload. But when I go to themes, upload, I get the above message.. What am I missing?

  On the free plan, you can choose from a set of themes which are free and available to use. But in order to upload your own theme, you need to upgrade to Business Plan.
