Trying to write a post using the desktop app and/or the integrated dashboard

  Hello,

  I am trying to work with a page on my self-hosted WP site using either the new desktop app (for Mac) or the integrated dashboard on wp.com. I have Jetpack installed.

  Every time I try to save a draft of the page—either using the desktop app or the dashboard—I get a message telling me that the save failed. I tried to publish the page and got a message saying the publish failed.

  Any ideas about why this might be happening?
