  I am trying to import my tumblr account to WordPress. The first blog I tried took over four hours and seemingly had no progress. Despite clicking the clear import data and later attempting a disconnect, I am still getting the error message that only one blog can be imported at a time. How can I import a different blog from the one I originally started on and/or finish the first blog I attempted to import?

  Hi there,

  I’ve reset the Tumblr importer for your site so you can try again.

  If it seems to take long, please be patient and don’t try cancelling the process yourself – we’re experiencing a high volume of imports from Tumblr at the moment causing a backlog of pending imports in our system. The imports are being run in the order they are submitted.

  If the new import doesn’t complete within 24 hours, please let us know.

  Hello, it has been over 24 hrs since I started a much smaller blog import to see what it would look like. I’m assuming it’s still in the queue, but is there a timeframe that it should be imported by?

  Hi there,

  I can confirm your import is queued, so it will run. At this point I’m afraid I can’t tell you when, though. The importer is processing thousands of post a minute but the backlog keeps growing as more people are starting imports, so for now best we can do is be patient :)
