Tumblr blog in import tool missing from list

    I would like to import a few Tumblr blogs I recently created, but I am unable to find them in the list of blogs linked to my account. What steps should I take to remedy this?

    Hi there!

    Are all your Tumblr blogs under the same account? Can you confirm that you’re following these steps?

    Thank you for your response–they’re all under the same account, and I followed those instructions exactly. I don’t know if it’s because one of my blogs has been stuck importing for over 24 hours, and the importer hasn’t been able to fetch the new blogs because of that?

    Is there a way I can stop or pause importing? Or make the importer re-fetch my list of blogs?

    Hi there,

    I have reset the importer on you site cequejepuisse.wordpress.com. That is the one you are trying to import all content to, yes?

    What are the URLs of the Tumblr sites you are trying to import? It may help if we can take a closer look at those and see if we can find what accounts they are associated with.

    Thank you–yes, that’s the site I’m trying to import the content to. Unfortunately the importer seems to still be stuck importing https://otherfunthings.tumblr.com/. Is it possible to completely reset the import process (i.e., delete everything, restart from zero)?

    The one blog in particular I’d like to import but can’t find in the list is https://compersions.tumblr.com/. I wondered if it was because this blog was set to private, but one of my other newer blogs, which is public, is also not on the import list.

    Please try again now. If it still shows you an import is in progress, try clearing your browser cache.

    I’m not sure if our importer can import private Tumblr sites, but it sounds like a likely reason. The best way to confirm is to set that Tumblr to public before you try connecting the importer again, and see if that makes any difference.
