tumblr blog not importing

    Hello!
    I started importing my Tumblr blog about 24 hrs ago and it still says 0/2400 posts imported. I don’t mind waiting, I just want to know if I am doing it right or maybe I did something wrong and that is why its not importing? Thanks for this platform btw, now that Tumblr has gone to shit I imagine loads of people want to import their stuff before Tumblr shuts down for good.

    Hi there, I’ve tagged WordPress.com staff to help you with resetting the importer.

    You’ll likely receive a response within a few hours from a staff member, but in the meantime, you may wish to take a look at this thread: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/tumblr-imports/

    Once it’s reset, please bare in mind the following as advised by staff:

    Please be patient and don’t try cancelling the process yourself – we’re experiencing a high volume of imports from Tumblr at the moment causing a backlog of pending imports in our system. The imports are being run in the order they are submitted.

    If the new import doesn’t complete within 24 hours, please let us know.

    Hi there,

    I’ve double checked to confirm your import is still queued. It doesn’t appear to be stuck. But please do reconnect to your Tumblr account if you’ve disconnected it, as that could be preventing it from starting.

    We’re processing quite a few imports from Tumblr at the moment, which is causing a backlog of imports in our system. While it may look like your import failed, it’s just in line for processing, and luckily it’s still in the queue. Please give it another 24 hours, and if it hasn’t completed by then, update us here.

    Thank you! It is still connected to Tumblr. I’ll wait another day and update here. Thanks again.

    Hi! It still says 0/2417 posts imported :( Am I doing something wrong? I am afraid to lose all my content :( Do I need to keep my computer on all day? Or is it just still in queue?

    Hi there,

    Your import is still queued and there’s no need to leave your computer on as this process will happen between Tumblr’s servers and ours.

    At this point I’m not able to give an estimate on how long it might take to catch up with the backlog, though.
