Tumblr Custom Domain Error
-
Hi, when I initially connected to the tumblr api to import my blog, I had a custom domain on the tumblr I wanted to import. I have removed that.
Now, 30ish minutes later, cache cleared, disconnected and reconnected to tumblr many times, attempted on multiple google profiles and incognito – I still have an X over the blog marking that it is on custom domain.
I have removed the pointers on my domain manager (dns/cname/etc.) as well as disabled it on tumblr.
I have never started the import process on this blog so it’s not stuck like that. Thanks =)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Go to your Tumblr settings and click on Apps. Remove WordPress there. Then try reconnecting on this end.

I disconnected the app from tumblr’s side, disconnected from wordpress side, reconnected via wordpress, and am still getting the ‘custom domain’ x. Thanks!

@reylosource can you try using an incognito browser window perhaps, to see if that will help?
Start an incognito window, log into Tumblr in one tab and WordPress.com in another, then start your import. You can close the window once you’ve started it, and if you want to confirm here you can.
Unfortunately the custom domain information is coming from Tumblr’s end, so if that still doesn’t work you’ll need to reach out to them, but I’m hoping starting with a clear browser will work.
