Tumblr import
-
Hello,
I’ve been trying to import bengalaas.tumblr.com for over 48h now. Importing to bengalaas.wordpress.com.
Could you please check if it’s still queued correctly?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi bengalaas,
Sure — I’ve double checked to confirm your import is indeed still queued. It didn’t cancel. But please do reconnect to your Tumblr account if you’ve disconnected it.
We’re processing quite a few imports from Tumblr at the moment, which is causing a backlog of imports in our system. While it may look like your import failed, it’s just in line for processing, and luckily it’s still in the queue. Please allow this to run for the next 24 hours, and if it hasn’t completed by then, update us here.

Hello!
It looks like my import is stuck — there has been no progress in the number of imported posts for the last 30h or so. Could you please check it?
-
@ bengalaas this did get stuck. I’ve reset it for you; can you try importing again?
Also I noticed you’re at 2.5GB out of 3GB of space. If you’re going to need more space for the rest of your media, I recommend upgrading your plan before getting started.

Hello!
1) I trimmed down my tumblr and deleted all the already imported posts to avoid having to trim the thing down twice. But I didn’t realize I had to clean out the media library too. So I think my new import got stuck again due to the size limit.
Could you please check it? I’ll delete all posts AND media again and will try importing once more..
2) Another question: before importing, I disconnected and re-connected to my (trimmed down) tumblr, but the import screen still shows the progress against a total of 5000+ posts, although at the moment of reconnecting it should have been only ~1540 posts. Is there a way to clear cache or something? Can this cause problems during import?
Thank you for all your help, staff! ♥

Hey there,
1) I deleted your import and reset your importer per your request, so you should be good to go to try the import again.
2)Yes, that sounds like a cache issue. I would clear your cache and see if that numbers reflect your current amount of post content. It shouldn’t affect your import however.
Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!
