Tumblr Import

  I am trying to import my tumblr posts and it was taking a while, so I did the ‘clear site information’ and even relinked the tumblr, but the importer keeps saying that only one can run at a time. Is there a way to fix this?

  Hi there!

  Following Tumblr’s recent announcement regarding content allowed on their service on their service, we’re experiencing unusually high volumes of Tumblr imports, leading to some delays in these imports.

  If you’re trying to import your Tumblr blog to WordPress.com and it looks like the import isn’t starting, please be patient. Imports are being queued on our servers and will be completed in the order that they were started. Please let us know if the import hasn’t completed after 24 hours.

  Modlook tag is already added, so Staff will help you reset the importer.

  Hi there!

  It appears your Tumblr import was ongoing. For now, I’ve reset the Tumblr importer for your site so you can try again afresh.

  If it seems to take long, please be patient and don’t try canceling the process yourself – we’re experiencing a high volume of imports from Tumblr at the moment causing a backlog of pending imports in our system. The imports are being run in the order they are submitted.

  If the new import doesn’t complete within 24 hours, please let us know.

  Hi, just wanted to check on the import as it’s been 24 hours and there hasd been no progress shown.

  Hi –

  The job status is queued up. Your import is in line still. Please make sure that your Tumblr blog is connected to WordPress.com, otherwise it will fail once the import begins.
