Tumblr import

The tumblr page I am trying to import is iamnotoneofthem.tumblr.com
The import has been going on for more than 24 hours – I started it two days ago, but admittedly, I forgot to turn off my queue during that time, so perhaps that is the issue? Either way, it shows me no progress whatsoever, even after 48 hours.

I’ve double checked to confirm your import is still queued (it didn’t cancel) so there is nothing more you can do for now. But please do reconnect to your Tumblr account if you’ve disconnected it, as that could be preventing it from starting.
We’re processing quite a few imports from Tumblr at the moment, which is causing a backlog of imports in our system. While it may look like your import failed, it’s just in line for processing, and luckily it’s still in the queue. At this point I’m not able to give an estimate on how long it might take to catch up with the backlog, though.

It finally finished! I have one last question: Is there a way to update the imported blog with posts that have happened since the import, or would I have to do that for each post individually?

@iamnotoneofthemm most of our importers will skip already-imported content.
I would guess though that doing that now, while everyone else is trying to import, would not be idea. I may feel on your end like everything is re-importing because we still have a backlog.
I’d give it some time, then re-import if you’d like.

I have been trying to move my tumblr pages tmr4156.tumblr.com and boondocksbriefs.tumblr.com
Ive been logged on to wordpress and tumblr for 6 or 7 days
wordpress says in process and i have not gotten anything.
ti pressed the export button on my tumblr page and i receive a zip file that i saved on my computer. please help both of my pages really mean a lot to me

When going on import, it says my blog has imported and I cannot do a re-import. So I’m wondering how to make it re-import so the new stuff is added?

It appears the Tumblr import on your site has now failed. I’ve reset the importer so you can try again.
If it seems to take a while, please be patient and don’t try cancelling the process yourself — we’re still experiencing a high volume of imports from Tumblr at the moment causing a backlog of pending imports in our system. The imports are being run in the order they are submitted, but it could be a few days before your new import is processed.
If some posts have already imported they will be skipped by the importer during your next attempt, so they should not be duplicated.
