tumblr import

what with the oncoming tumblr apocalypse, i’ve been trying to import my account, but i can’t get it to work? i tried with two different wordpress accounts, and i also tried stopping the process by clearing the account information, but every time the status in progress just keeps spinning, but no posts are being imported, just stuck on 0/xxxx. please help?

Hi there, I’ve tagged WordPress.com staff to help you with resetting the importer.
You’ll likely receive a response within a few hours from a staff member, but in the meantime, you may wish to take a look at this thread: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/tumblr-imports/
Once it’s reset, please bare in mind the following as advised by staff:
Please be patient and don’t try cancelling the process yourself – we’re experiencing a high volume of imports from Tumblr at the moment causing a backlog of pending imports in our system. The imports are being run in the order they are submitted.
If the new import doesn’t complete within 24 hours, please let us know.

Hi @torres126 I believe @kokkieh asked that the tag is tumblr import
Perhaps I should move my site to tumblr. They’ll have plenty of space and their importer (if they have one) should be quiet. :)
