Tumblr Import

Hi, I’m trying to import my tumblr feed but the importer just tells me that the ‘current one still hasn’t finished’ when it fact it’s doing a whole lotta nothing. I tried to import a few days ago but realized I had also triggered a manual export on tumblr itself and halted the import to wordpress fearing having both of them going at the same time would make the server crawl.
Anyways. . that was days ago .. and wordpress still doesn’t want to do anything. I’ve tried disconnecting a bunch of times, but it keeps popping up the message that somethings going on … which it isn’t.

Hi there, I’ve tagged WordPress.com staff to help you with resetting the importer.

Once it’s reset, please bare in mind the following as advised by staff:
Please be patient and don’t try cancelling the process yourself – we’re experiencing a high volume of imports from Tumblr at the moment causing a backlog of pending imports in our system. The imports are being run in the order they are submitted.

It appears the Tumblr import on your site has failed, so I’ve reset the importer so you can try again.
If it seems to take long, please be patient and don’t try cancelling the process yourself – we’re still experiencing a high volume of imports from Tumblr at the moment causing a backlog of pending imports in our system. The imports are being run in the order they are submitted, but it could be a few days before your new import is processed.
If some posts have already imported they will be skipped by the importer during your next attempt, so they should not be duplicated.
