  Hi! I see a lot of posts on this topic and saw that staff assistance was needed. I’ve been trying to import my Tumblr blogs for 24+hours now and it has not worked. Is there something different I need to do? Thanks!

  Hey there, we have seen a recent bug with some Tumblr imports. I’ll cancel the imports on your site so you can try again, but if you’d also like to let us know your goals in importing the Tumblr site here, we may have other options for you.

  Hi, the tumblr importer has been running for almost 48 hours now with no success. I posted the other day but think I did it wrong (I’m new to WordPress) so if there is anyone that could help me reset it/fix it that would be great! Thank you!

  Can you go ahead and try importing again, and can you let us know your goals in importing from Tumblr?

  Hi, sorry I did not see your earlier reply, I wasn’t sure my post had went through. 😅 My apologies! My goals are to transfer my prior articles on Tumblr here to WordPress so I can continue writing and have all my articles in one place. I was going to make a website on WordPress for my review blog. I have restarted the import process again as you asked!

  Thanks for sharing your goals! Please wait and see if the import is successful at this time. If it is stuck again, please let us know, and we’ll look into it.

  For the review site, do you want to use any custom domains on your site? I’d recommend the WordPress.com Personal plan, which lets you set your own domain as the primary address of your site. It will also remove ads from your site and give you additional storage to upload more media.

  If there are other features you want on your site, feel free to tell us all about them. :) We can recommend specific guides once we have a better understanding of your site needs. We have a ton of resources here, but we can offer even more personalized suggestions.

  Hey there—yes, if I was able to import my work from tumblr I planned to create a website on the personal plan! I just checked the importer and it is still stuck. Any direction you could give me on what to do would be helpful! 😀

  Hi! There is no error message, it just continues to say “in progress”
