Tumblr Import

I, as I’m sure many, have begun running a tumblr import and I should be roughly at or maybe just under the 24 hr mark since I began and it doesn’t seem to have made any progress and there’s no way that I can see to clear and attempt to begin again. Is the queue simply this long? Or has it hitched somewhere? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I’ve double checked to confirm your import is indeed still running. It didn’t cancel and is not stalled either.
I realise this can be confusing, especially when you have been waiting for as much as 24 hours, but I do see an import that was started 5 hours ago as well.
We’re processing quite a few imports from Tumblr at the moment, which is causing a backlog of imports in our system. While it may look like your import failed, it’s just in line for processing, and luckily it’s still in the queue. Please allow the current import to run for the next 24 hours, and if it hasn’t completed by then, update us here.

Does the import pause and then resume if I navigate away from the page and then back? Same if an internet connection drops out, and then resumes? Thanks for the reply!

No, the import will continue. You don’t need to remain on the exact page. I’ve had a look and it hasn’t started quite yet. Once it does, the import will complete with in 24 hours. Otherwise, let us know :)
