Tumblr Import, Custom Domain

From the forum history, it looks like this is a recurring issue: I want to import my posts from my old Tumblr site into my new WordPress site, but the importer won’t run because it is picking up a custom domain on my old Tumblr site. However, the custom domain on my Tumblr has been deactivated for over a week—it now points successfully to my WordPress site. Still, I can’t get the importer to recognize that it’s gone from my Tumblr no matter how many times I disconnect and reconnect, clear the cache, etc. Any way to hard reset the importer?
The WordPress site is catherineaddington.com and the Tumblr site is catherineaddington.tumblr.com.

Hi there,
I replied to you in another thread where you commented, but if you’re getting the custom domain error even after switching off the domain on Tumblr’s end, disconnect in the importer, go to the Apps section in Tumblr settings and remove WordPress there: https://www.tumblr.com/settings/apps
Then restart the import.
I’ve already reset the importer on our end for you.
