    Hi there – I’ve double checked to confirm your import is indeed still queued and waiting to run. Please do reconnect to your Tumblr account if you’ve already disconnected it.

    We’re processing quite a few imports from Tumblr at the moment, which is causing a backlog of imports in our system. While it may look like your import failed, it’s just in line for processing, and luckily it’s still in the queue. Please allow this to run another 24 hours, and if it hasn’t completed by then, update us here.

    the status indicates the backup is “in progress”.

    Hi there,

    It appears the Tumblr import on your site has failed, so I’ve reset the importer so you can try again.

    If it seems to take long, please be patient and don’t try cancelling the process yourself – we’re still experiencing a high volume of imports from Tumblr at the moment causing a backlog of pending imports in our system. The imports are being run in the order they are submitted, but it could be a few days before your new import is processed.

    If some posts have already imported they will be skipped by the importer during your next attempt, so they should not be duplicated.

    However, please note that we also have restrictions on the type of mature content allowed on WordPress.com, and pornographic or sexually explicit content is not allowed on our service at all.

    thank you for the reply.
    my content falls within WP guidelines, so I’m quite confident that won’t be an issue.
    the import process seems to be stuck at 6k posts – out of a total of 25k.
    would it be possible to check it once more please?

    Hi trashculturetrash,

    I’ve checked on this and the import failed so I’ve reset the import for you again — please try connecting your Tumblr account and running another import. As @kokkieh mentioned above, the importer should skip any content that has already been imported.
