Tumblr Import Issues

  Hi, I started an import for my tumblr blog yesterday but I realised it was going to take quite a while so I cancelled it (by clearing it). Having enough time to start that today I went to begin the import, when the page told me that I could only have 1 import happening at once. I think WordPress thinks that import is still being processed even though it’s not, can this be fixed so I can import my blog?

  Hi there,

  The site at http://chiliadrevolution.wordpress.com/ has been deleted. Can you please confirm the site you’re trying to import to?

  If you deleted that site in error and would like for us to restore it, please let us know.

  Hi,

  chiliadrevolution was the site I was trying to import to, I deleted it thinking that it would simply be easier to start again with a new blog.

  I had the same issue with the new blog ( http://transrevolutionary.wordpress.com/ ). I left the import running for several hours and no progress was made. Not a single post imported.

  I would appreciate chiliadrevolution being restored if that is still possible, as well as the issue of my tumblr blogs not being able to be imported resolved.

  I’ve restored the site to your account.

  Your import is still queued. It didn’t cancel. But please do reconnect to your Tumblr account if you’ve disconnected it, as that could be preventing it from starting.

  We’re processing quite a few imports from Tumblr at the moment, which is causing a backlog of imports in our system. While it may look like your import failed, it’s just in line for processing, and luckily it’s still in the queue. I’m not able to give an estimate on how long it might take to catch up with the backlog, though.

  I’ve reconnected my tumblr and I can wait for the import, now that I know it is happening.
