Tumblr import not importing over 24 hours

    Hello!

    It’s been over 24 hours now and my tumblr import is stuck at 0. No posts or pages have been imported. Could you please reset my tumblr import so I can try again? Thank you!

    Hi @tennyoelf,

    I’ve double checked to confirm your import is indeed still queued and it’s going to start soon. It didn’t cancel. But please do reconnect to your Tumblr account if you’ve disconnected it. And please be patient and keep your connection from Tumblr. Do not try to cancel your import.

    We’re processing quite a few imports from Tumblr at the moment, which is causing a backlog of imports in our system. While it may look like your import failed, it’s just in line for processing, and luckily it’s still in the queue. Please allow this to run for the next 24 hours, and if it hasn’t completed by then, update us here.

    It’s been almost 2 days now from your last reply and it’s still at 0. I understand they backlog, but I’m worried now. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi there,

    It looks like the import on your site has completed – some content has been imported, and no import is currently running.

    If you’re still missing posts, please restart the import now – posts already on your WordPress.com site will be skipped by the importer. It might take a while to complete, though, as we’re still seeing a lot of new Tumblr imports being created so there’s still a backlog. At this point I’m not able to give an estimate on how long it might take to catch up with the backlog, though.

    Hello once again,

    Yes I do see the import/posts now! Thank you. It only got half my blog as I reached image load limit. Once I get more image space, is there any way to import from a certain point, or would I have to start the process over again and delete the 4000 posts I currently imported?

    If it’s not possible, that’s fine. I’m learning the ropes here and I can adjust as needed.

    Posts already there should be skipped, so it won’t duplicate the posts already imported. Only posts that are missing at that point will be imported.

    over 48 hrs and stuck on import. I want to cancel the import.

    Please create your own thread at https://en.forums.wordpress.com/?new=1 and include a link to your site, and we can help you there. Make sure to add the tags modlook and tumblr import to your thread so we don’t miss it.

    However, we are not able to cancel an import that’s currently in the queue.
