Tumblr import over a week now?

    Hi folks,

    I read the pinned post but just wanted to check in. My blog has imported barely 5% of posts from my Tumblr but it did that on the first day or so. The number has been sitting at 3978 posts imported for a week or so now. I checked the size and it’s still only at 19% of the 3Gb limit. Any advice? I haven’t been back to look at my original Tumblr and would like to delete and close that account as soon as possible (on principle), but also to ensure the safety of what I had there. I’ll probably need to purchase a paid blog on here as the size will likely exceed 3Gb, but I was hoping to be able to cross that bridge when/if I came to it.

    Hi there,

    It looks like the import on your site has completed – some content has been imported, and no import is currently running.

    If you’re still missing posts, please restart the import now – posts already on your WordPress.com site will be skipped by the importer. It might take a while to complete, though, as we’re still seeing a lot of new Tumblr imports being created so there’s still a backlog. At this point I’m not able to give an estimate on how long it might take to catch up with the backlog, though.
