Tumblr import stalled

My Tumblr import has been stalled at 4571 posts for ~48 hours. I know things are running slowly right now, but I’m not sure if I’ve reached some kind of limit, or if the importer needs to be reset.

It looks like the import on your site has stopped because you reached the 3GB limit of the free plan.
You can upgrade to a paid plan which will give you more storage space and then restart the import. All the posts and media files that are already on your WordPress.com site will be skipped by the importer.

I mostly just want to import the text from my Tumblr – if I continue the import will it just skip the media files, or do I absolutely have to upgrade to the paid plan?

@lexs7080 the importer tries to import media files. If it can’t, it may get stuck.
I’d recommend upgrading, allowing the import to finish, then downgrading if you’d like. If you don’t buy or transfer a domain here, you can get a full refund if you cancel within 30 days.
