tumblr import stalled, plus missing media

    I began importing my tumblr over last week, and it’s been sitting at 4757 / 4786 for several days with ‘in progress’ still spinning. I also started deleting posts and media files when I got the notification that I was over the 3gb limit. However, although now it appears the vast majority of my posts have been imported, there are a couple of years’ worth of images that have been lost from those posts. That is, they are not visible in my Media folders or in the posts themselves. I upgraded to 6gb to try to alleviate the space issue as well; I’d prefer not to have to do the import over again (although that doesn’t seem like an option?) but could do that now that I have the space. Any thoughts/updates?

    Hi eisoj5,

    It appears the Tumblr import on your site has now failed, so I’ve reset the importer so you can try again. If some posts and media have already imported they will be skipped by the importer during your next attempt, so they should not be duplicated.

    If it seems to take a long time, please be patient and don’t try cancelling the process yourself – we’re still experiencing a high volume of imports from Tumblr at the moment causing a backlog of pending imports in our system. The imports are being run in the order they are submitted, but it could be a few days before your new import is processed.
