Tumblr import stuck

  Hello –

  I started my Tumblr import in December and approximately 3K of a little over 20K posts have imported. The import is still is still running but has been stuck at the 3K point for weeks.

  Please help?

  Hi there,

  It appears the Tumblr import on your site has failed, so I’ve reset the importer so you can try again. Please let us know if it hasn’t completed after 24 hours.

  If some posts have already imported they will be skipped by the importer during your next attempt, so they should not be duplicated.

  Hi,

  The import was running well for a few days, but is now stuck again at 5998 of 19866 posts.

  Would you please reset the importer again or Davis if this is something I can do on my own?

  I’ve reset the importer. Please try running it again.

  Also just note that you’re now at 80% of the free 3GB media storage. Once you hit 100% the importer might fail again, as it won’t be able to import any more images to your site’s media library.

  To ensure you have enough space to import all your images, you might want to consider upgrading to one of our paid plans:

  Thanks! I started the import again and it seems to be stuck again at approximately 13K of approximately 19K. Should I wait or should it be reset again? I don’t think I’m out of space as I’m able to upload images manually. Please advise – thanks and sorry for all of the back and forth on this issue.

  I’ve reset the import again.

  You’re not out of media space, no, but the import is likely timing out because of the amount of data that needs to be transferred.

  Thank you! I ran it and it seems to be stuck again but it definitely got farther than last time – I’m currently at 16541 of 19841 posts imported. Would you please reset it again? I’m almost there!
