Tumblr import stuck (but has started importing)

    Many days ago I began queuing for a tumblr import, and stupidly tried to re-connect to tumblr a few times.

    When logging back onto WordPress now I see that 5731 out of 16551 posts from the tumblr account I want to import have been processed, but the import seems to have stopped at that number. What does that mean? Is there anything I should do to ‘kick-start’ the importer again?

    Hi there,

    It appears the Tumblr import on your site has failed, so I’ve reset the importer so you can try again. Please let us know if it hasn’t completed after 24 hours.

    If some posts have already imported they will be skipped by the importer during your next attempt, so they should not be duplicated.

    I do notice you’ve hit the 3GB storage limit for media files, though. This means we won’t be able to transfer any more of your pictures from Tumblr unless you upgrade to a plan that offers increased storage, or delete some files from your media library (this will also remove them from the posts where they appear, though).
