Tumblr import stuck for more than 48 hours

    I started the import process a little over 2 days ago, and it still has not finished importing (it actually has shown zero progress). I know I have seen others having a similar issue, and I was wondering if if I should just continue to let it try to upload, or cancel it and try again at a later time.

    Hi there,

    I don’t see any running Tumblr imports on impistry.wordpress.com.

    Please try again, or let me know if you’re trying to import to a different site. If some posts have already imported they will be skipped by the importer during your next attempt, so they should not be duplicated.

    If it seems to take long, please be patient and don’t try cancelling the process yourself – we’re experiencing a high volume of imports from Tumblr at the moment causing a backlog of pending imports in our system. The imports are being run in the order they are submitted.

    At this point we’re unable to give an estimate on how long it might take to catch up with the backlog, though – it’s taking longer than anticipated, but the importer is running and will hopefully get to your site soon.
