Tumblr import (surprise surprise!)

  I’m just adding to the queue. Seems the import has stalled….no activity…waited over 24 hours…I cleared the info…tried to restart the import…error message says can’t import more than one blog. I’m certain it is still in the long queue, but if y’all find time to check it out, it would be most appreciated.

  I’ve double checked to confirm your import is indeed still running. It didn’t cancel and is not stalled either.

  I can help reset this process so that you can attempt afresh, but that would add to more wait times.

  We’re processing quite a few imports from Tumblr at the moment, which is causing a backlog of imports in our system. While it may look like your import failed, it’s just in line for processing, and luckily it’s still in the queue.

  I would encourage that we allow the ongoing import to continue.

  Keep us posted on how you would like to proceed though.

  Additionally, if you are moving to WordPress.com from Tumblr due to their recent change in policies about allowing adult content, note that WordPress.com has restrictions on what’s allowed as well.
