Tumblr import – want to cancel

    Dear support staff,

    I was trying to import my main tumblr secondgenerationimmigrant.tumblr.com into my main WP site secondgenerationimmigrant.wordpress.com, and of course because of the backlog it is still stalled on 0% since yesterday, which is totally understandable.

    However, in the meantime I realised that I really don’t want all my 4k+ posts, inclusing shitposting, on my WP, so I made a new tumblr where I am shoving only the stuff I really want to keep. I would like to cancel the current import so I can restart the importer on the new blog (kemetic-overflow.tumblr.com) which at the moment is not even showing on the importer (IDK why).

    Would that be possible?

    Hi –

    Go ahead and start the new import file, I’ve deleted the old job.

    Make sure your Tumblr account is connected to WordPress.com. It will likely sit in line for a day or so, but once the process begins, it should finish up with in 24 hours.
