Tumblr importer not working

  Hi WordPress support wizards,

  I am trying to import a blog from Tumblr but it shows as Custom Domain even though I’ve removed that in Tumblr and have my site with a .tumblr.com. I’ve cleared cache, waited 24hrs, and tried different things but nothing. (Basically, I am having the same issue doshkim had https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/tumblr-importer-custom-domain-not-working/#post-3393400).

  Hi there,

  Go to the Apps section in Tumblr settings and remove WordPress there: https://www.tumblr.com/settings/apps

  Then restart the import – it will require you to re-authorise access to your Tumblr account. Let me know if it still won’t work.

  Thanks, I had done that for the past 24 hours several times and every single time I disconnected and connect again it still came up with the issue… but this morning, it worked! I can see the import button now, thank you, will start the import.
