Tumblr Importer stuck

  Hey there. I wanted to import my tumblr blogs to wordpress and followed the instructions to do so. The import for my largest blog seemed to be stuck so I reset it, but it says the import is still running. So I cleared the data again, disconnected from tumblr, refreshed, and tried again — but it says it’s still running the import and I can’t do anything. There’s no indication that it’s running other than the error message. What do I do now?

  Regardless, I’ve gone ahead and tagged this thread for Staff assistance as they will likely need to clear out the current import.

  Ah, crap, thank you. I didn’t realize this was going to a forum rather than an email for some reason? Seems like everyone is having the same issue lol sorry to clog up your forums more.

  I’ve reset the Tumblr importer for your site so you can try again.

  If it seems to take long, please be patient and don’t try cancelling the process yourself – we’re experiencing a high volume of imports from Tumblr at the moment causing a backlog of pending imports in our system. The imports are being run in the order they are submitted.

  If the new import doesn’t complete within 24 hours, please let us know.
