Tumblr – Not Connecting to Right Blog

    Hi there,

    I have two tumblr accounts (with separate e-mail addresses) and I’m trying to import only one of the accounts, but every time I try it gives me the URL of the other account. I’ve logged off and on to tumblr multiple times and I don’t understand how it is connecting to the incorrect one when I am putting in the e-mail address and password for the correct account.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi there,

    We’re likely still detecting a login cookie from your other Tumblr account.

    Go to your Tumblr settings for both accounts at https://www.tumblr.com/settings/apps and make sure WordPress isn’t listed there.

    Then clear your browser cookies, log back into WordPress.com and the Tumblr account you want to use, and only then try connecting Tumblr in the importer again.

    Also note we’re experiencing a very high volume of Tumblr imports, so it might take a while for the import to start. Please be patient, don’t try cancelling it yourself, and let us know here if it still hasn’t started after 24 hours.
