Tumblr sharing issues

  Hey all,

  So, I wanted to try out the Tumblr sharing that WordPress just added today. I made a test blog that was nothing more than several paragraphs, and published it to just WordPress and Tumblr. It worked well, so I thought everything was hunky dory.

  I deleted the test posts that were created in both WordPress and Tumblr, then made an official post to share. I published it, and unlike the last one where it at least had a portion of the blog showing as a quote on my Tumblr page, now it shows nothing. You can see this by comparing the two blogs and see what I mean:

  creativen00b.wordpress.com
  creativen00b.tumblr.com

  It worked fine with the test but not with this one. I assume it’s because of the picture I put in the new post? If that’s the case, is there a workaround to make it post at least a partial quote on the Tumblr published post? Or am I just going to have to leave out pictures for the time being?

  hi everyone,
  i also have some issues with tumblr sharing too…i use turkish in my wordpress blog and when i share posts via tumblr, the writing just turns into some silly characters so nothing can be read at all. so i checked every one of my posts and copy-pasted the firsts paragraphs to fix the writings. what happens and how can it be managed so that the problem doesnt occur again?

  Sounds like Tumblr doesn’t support Turkish.

  indeed, it is impossible, tumblr also has the turkish version, nothing wrong when posting inside it, the problem just occurs when publicize by wordpress is made.
