    I am an artist, having a free wordpress site. I want the site to look more professional, and I am willing to pay for this. How can I change it?

    In this case, it’s all about which theme you pick. As an artist, you will likely want a theme that highlights the content you create and upload. I’d recommend visiting WordPress’ theme catalog and looking at the live previews to see which one would look best.
